Riverview offers you or your loved one a very personal choice in which to be memorialized, whether traditional burial or cremation burial. Our knowledgeable and attentive staff can help you understand your choices and assist you in every step of your planning.

Upon the death of the loved one, the surviving spouse or personal representative should contact their preferred funeral home to arrange for any desired services. The surviving spouse, personal representative, or the funeral director may contact the Riverview Cemetery office at (651) 457-1109 to arrange for the interment/inurnment service.

Military funeral honors can be provided by the decedent’s branch of service. The funeral director will arrange for the military funeral honors when military funeral honors are requested. The honors may include service specific casket team (also referred to as body bearers or pallbearers), firing party, and a bugler.

Visiting the Cemetery

Riverview Cemetery offers a quiet oasis in the middle of a large, metropolitan area. As a final resting place for your loved one, spectacular views can be a place to remember, reflect and honor those who have gone before. Cemetery staff ask you to be respectful of those resting here as well as those visiting. Please use these links to review the rules and regulations prior to visiting the cemetery.
